A note on these examples
The pairs below are demonstrations. Both frames were made by us to show exactly what the edit does and does not touch. They are not anyone's home.
It would be a strange studio that promises nothing faked and then passes off invented rooms as a client's house. Real commissions replace these the moment the first ones are shot.

We made the bed and cleared every bit of clutter. The crack down the wall, the water stain by the ceiling and the patch of peeling plaster stay exactly where they are. Improving a room and hiding its flaws are not the same thing, and this is the line we never cross.
